## About Landit

### Understanding Landit

What is Landit?

Landit is a business data integration and reporting platform that automatically brings together data from connected business systems, prepares it for reporting and keeps it up to date.

You can use that data to create reports, reconcile information and analyse your business through familiar tools including Excel and Power BI, or have reports delivered automatically through Landit Inbox.

What problems does Landit solve?

Landit reduces the recurring manual work involved in extracting, combining, reconciling and preparing business data for reporting.

Instead of repeating those processes whenever you need an updated report, Landit keeps your data reporting-ready, helping reduce manual errors and freeing up time for analysis and decision-making.

How is Landit different from a traditional reporting tool?

Traditional reporting tools generally focus on presenting and analysing data. Landit also automates much of the work needed to prepare that data for reporting.

It connects to business systems, brings data together, reconciles it and maintains a consistent reporting-ready foundation that can be used across Excel, Power BI and scheduled reporting.

This means you're not repeatedly preparing the same data for different reports.

### Data and operation

Where does Landit store my business data?

Landit imports and maintains the data needed for reporting from your connected business systems.

Does Landit change the data in my business systems?

Landit is designed to extract and prepare business data for reporting, rather than make changes to the underlying business systems.

How does Landit handle reconciliation?

Landit can compare data from different systems or instances and identify discrepancies between datasets.

This helps you identify differences that need investigation or correction. Landit highlights discrepancies for review; it doesn't automatically resolve them in the source systems.

How current is the data in Landit?

Landit automatically detects and processes changes from connected business systems to keep its reporting data up to date.

Its regular processing cycle runs every 15 minutes, although the time taken for a particular change to become available can depend on the source system and processing requirements.

Reports can then be refreshed using the updated data.

### Using Landit

Can I use Landit without technical expertise?

Yes. Landit includes ready-made reports and tools designed to make business data accessible without requiring programming or database expertise.

You can work with reports in Excel, use Assistant to help build or change queries, and receive scheduled reports through Inbox.

More complex reporting or Power BI customisation may benefit from help from a Landit System Integration Partner.

Can Landit support reporting across different parts of my business?

Yes. Landit can bring together data from multiple connected instances for reporting, reconciliation and analysis.

For example, a business operating multiple instances of a supported system can use Landit to work with reporting data across those instances rather than preparing separate exports manually.

The exact reporting possibilities depend on the systems connected and the data available.

### Support and assistance

What help is available if I need assistance with Landit?

Landit offers ways to get assistance with onboarding, configuration and reporting requirements.

Landit System Integration Partners can help implement and customise reporting around your business needs, with additional support available through Remind BI.

For customers working with a SIP, the SIP remains the first point of contact for support.

## Landit Excel

What is Landit Excel?

Landit Excel is an Excel plugin that gives you access to your connected business data directly within Excel. You can choose ready-made reports, create or customise your own reporting, and refresh reports with current data without repeatedly exporting and preparing it yourself.

Do I need to learn a new application to use Landit Excel?

No. Landit works within the familiar Excel environment, adding a dedicated menu and side panel for accessing data, reports and reporting tools. You can continue using Excel's existing formatting, calculation, charting and analysis capabilities.

How do I install Landit Excel?

Install the Landit Excel plugin and sign in to your Landit account. Once installed, Landit's tools are available through the Excel menu and side panel.

Do I have to build my own reports?

No. Landit includes a growing library of ready-made reports covering common business reporting requirements. You can use these as supplied, customise them to suit your business, or create new reports when you need something different.

Can I customise an existing Landit report?

Yes. Open an existing report in Query Builder to change the data it uses, apply filters and adapt it to your requirements. You can then create the updated report in Excel.

Can I create my own reports in Landit Excel?

Yes. Query Builder lets you select the data you need, apply filters and shape the results around your reporting requirements. You can also add charts before creating the report in Excel.

Can I use Excel's normal features with Landit reports?

Yes. Once Landit creates your report as an Excel worksheet, you can use Excel's familiar formatting, formulas, calculations, charts and analysis tools to work with the results.

What is Query Builder, and do I need to know SQL to use it?

Query Builder is Landit's visual tool for defining the data you want in a report. You can select datapoints, apply filters and configure your query without having to write SQL.

It is available through the Landit Excel side panel, or in a full-screen web interface when you need more room to work.

What can Landit's AI Assistant do?

Assistant works inside Query Builder and helps in two ways. You can describe the report you want in everyday language and have Assistant build or modify the query for you. You can also ask Assistant to find particular datapoints within complex business-system data structures.

Can I switch between Query Builder in Excel and the full-screen version?

Yes. Both interfaces work with the same underlying query definitions. You can work within Excel for everyday tasks or open the full-screen Query Builder when you need more space to create and refine reporting.

How do I update an existing Excel report with current data?

Landit keeps the underlying business data prepared and updated. You can refresh your Landit report in Excel to work with current reporting-ready data, without repeating the original extraction and preparation process.

Can Landit automatically email my Excel reports to other people?

Yes. Landit Inbox lets you schedule reports to be updated and delivered by email. Reports are delivered as Excel workbooks, which can contain multiple report worksheets.

You can choose the delivery schedule, recipients and access settings for each scheduled workbook.

## Landit Inbox

What is Landit Inbox?

Landit Inbox automatically updates your Excel reports with current business data and delivers them by email on a schedule you choose.

It allows regular reporting to reach the people who need it without someone having to manually refresh, save and distribute the reports each time.

Do I need to use Landit Excel to use Landit Inbox?

Landit Inbox delivers reports as Excel workbooks, using reports created or configured through Landit's reporting tools.

You can use ready-made reports or create and customise reporting with Landit Excel and Query Builder, then schedule the results for delivery through Inbox.

How do I set up a scheduled report?

Choose the report or reports you want to deliver, configure the Excel workbook, select your recipients and set the delivery schedule.

Landit then updates the reports and makes the workbook available to your recipients according to the schedule you've configured.

How often can Landit Inbox deliver reports?

Landit Inbox supports flexible scheduling options, with deliveries sent at your chosen time of day.

- **Daily:** Every day or every specified number of days, such as every second or third day.
- **Weekly:** Choose which days of the week reports should arrive, such as Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- **Monthly:** Schedule delivery every month or every specified number of months, either on a particular date or using a pattern such as the third Tuesday or last Sunday.
- **Once:** Schedule a single delivery for a specified date and time.

Each scheduled workbook has its own delivery schedule, so you can arrange different reporting around different business requirements.

Can I include multiple reports in one email?

Yes. Landit Inbox delivers a single Excel workbook for each scheduled email, and that workbook can contain multiple worksheets, each holding a different report.

This allows you to group related reports into one scheduled delivery rather than sending them separately.

Can I create multiple delivery schedules?

Yes. You can schedule multiple Excel workbooks, each with its own reporting content, delivery frequency, recipients and security settings.

For example, you could have a daily operational workbook sent to one group and a weekly management workbook sent to another.

Does Landit Inbox automatically update reports before sending them?

Yes. Landit uses the current reporting-ready data available through your connected business systems to update the scheduled reports before delivery.

This removes the need to manually refresh and distribute the same reports each time.

Do recipients need a Landit account to receive reports?

Not necessarily. Landit Inbox offers two access modes.

With **Registered users only**, recipients need a valid Landit account to open the report.

With **Anyone with the link**, recipients can access the report through an unguessable link without needing a Landit account.

How does Landit Inbox protect reports sent by email?

Landit Inbox uses familiar link-sharing access controls, similar in concept to those used by Microsoft 365.

You choose the access mode for each scheduled delivery:

- **Registered users only:** Recipients must sign in with a valid Landit account. Links can remain valid for up to one year.
- **Anyone with the link:** Recipients can access the report without a Landit account using an unguessable link. Links can remain valid for up to seven days.

You can configure the expiry period within these limits.

Can I change who receives a scheduled report?

Yes. You can manage the recipients associated with a Landit Inbox schedule, allowing you to update distribution as your business requirements change.

Each scheduled workbook has its own recipient list.

Can I change or stop an existing schedule?

Yes. You can use the Landit Inbox schedule management interface to review and edit existing schedules, including their delivery frequency, time, recipients and other settings.

You can also make a schedule inactive to stop automatic delivery without deleting its configuration.

What do recipients receive when Landit Inbox sends a report?

Recipients receive an email notification containing a link to their updated Excel workbook.

Opening the link takes them to a browser, where any required authentication or access verification takes place. Once access is verified, the workbook downloads directly to their device.

The downloaded workbook can contain multiple report worksheets, which recipients can open and work with using Excel.

The email also identifies the scheduled report and provides information about the download link's expiry.

## Landit Power BI

What is Landit Power BI?

Landit Power BI gives you a ready-made Power BI reporting solution built around your connected business data. It includes a pre-configured data model, calculations and sample dashboards, allowing you to start exploring your data without building the reporting solution from scratch.

What do I get with Landit Power BI?

You receive a ready-made Power BI file containing a structured data model, pre-built relationships, measures, calculations and sample dashboards.

These provide a working foundation for reporting on your connected business data, with the flexibility to extend the solution when your requirements go beyond what's supplied.

Do I need Power BI experience to get started?

Not necessarily. Landit provides the model and dashboards already configured, so getting started is relatively straightforward.

However, Power BI is a sophisticated reporting environment. More substantial changes to the model or dashboards may require someone with Power BI expertise.

How do I set up Landit Power BI?

The basic setup process involves four steps:

1. Install Power BI.
2. Download the Power BI file supplied by Landit.
3. Add your Landit credentials.
4. Publish the reporting solution.

The supplied model and dashboards are already configured, so you don't need to build them before you can start using your data.

What reporting is available out of the box?

Landit Power BI includes sample dashboards designed around common reporting requirements.

These dashboards use the supplied Power BI model and established calculations, allowing you to start exploring your own business data without first designing and building the reporting yourself.

Can I customise the supplied dashboards?

Yes. The supplied dashboards and data model are not locked down. You can add or modify pages, visualisations, measures and calculations to create reporting tailored to your requirements.

More substantial customisation may require Power BI expertise.

Can I create completely new dashboards?

Yes. You can use the supplied data model as the foundation for new Power BI dashboards and reports.

The existing relationships, measures and calculations provide a starting point, while Power BI's own tools allow you to build reporting around your business requirements.

Can someone customise Landit Power BI for me?

Yes. A Landit System Integration Partner can help customise the supplied model and dashboards, create additional reporting and tailor the solution to your business requirements.

This is particularly useful if you don't have Power BI expertise within your organisation.

How does Landit keep my Power BI reporting up to date?

Landit manages the connection to your business systems, extracting, preparing and updating the data available to Power BI.

Your Power BI reporting can then refresh against that updated data, without you having to maintain the underlying source-system integrations yourself.

What Power BI licence do I need?

You'll need your own Microsoft Power BI Pro licence to use Landit Power BI.

For most customers, there's no need to store or maintain their reporting data in Microsoft Fabric. Customers with particularly large data requirements may need to consider Fabric as part of their implementation.

Is Landit Power BI included in my Landit subscription?

Yes. Landit Power BI is included in the standard Landit subscription alongside Landit Excel and Landit Inbox.

There are no separate Landit product tiers or additional Landit feature subscriptions required to use Power BI.

You'll still need your own Microsoft Power BI licence.

## Integrations & Pricing

### Supported systems and connections

What business systems does Landit connect to?

Landit currently supports two integrations: **Cin7 Core** and **Cin7 Omni**.

We're working to expand the range of supported business systems. Visit the Integrations page for the current list of available connections.

What is the difference between a connection and a subscription?

A connection links one instance of a supported business system to Landit. For example, if your business operates three separate Cin7 Core accounts, each would require its own connection.

Your Landit subscription is the paid service that provides access to Landit's features. The subscription price is based on the number of connections you need.

Can I connect more than one instance of a business system?

Yes. Landit supports multiple connections, allowing you to bring together reporting data from separate instances of a supported business system.

For example, you could connect several Cin7 Core accounts and use Landit to report, analyse and reconcile data across them.

Can I connect different business systems to the same Landit account?

Landit is designed to support connections to different business systems within the same reporting environment.

The combinations available depend on the integrations Landit currently supports. At launch, Landit supports Cin7 Core and Cin7 Omni as two distinct integrations.

What if Landit doesn't currently support my business system?

Contact us and let us know which system you'd like to connect.

We're expanding Landit's integration capabilities, and understanding customer requirements helps us prioritise future connections.

### Connecting and managing data

What do I need to connect my business system to Landit?

You'll need a Landit account and the appropriate access credentials or API keys for the business system you want to connect.

Landit guides you through establishing the connection and importing your data. A Landit System Integration Partner can help if you need assistance.

Does Landit change data in my connected business systems?

Landit is designed to extract and prepare data for reporting rather than change information in your operational systems.

What data does Landit access from my connected systems?

Landit accesses the business data required to support its reporting, reconciliation and analysis capabilities through the permissions granted to its connection.

The specific data available depends on the connected system and the integration.

How often does Landit update data from my connected systems?

Landit automatically detects and processes changes from connected business systems, keeping the reporting data up to date.

Landit's regular processing cycle runs every 15 minutes. The time taken for a particular change to become available can depend on the source system and processing requirements.

This does not mean every Excel report or Power BI dashboard automatically refreshes every 15 minutes.

Can I add or remove connections after subscribing?

Landit's subscription pricing is based on the number of active connections.

You can initiate additional connections as your requirements grow.

### Pricing and billing

How much does Landit cost?

Landit subscriptions are priced according to the number of connections:

- **First connection:** AU$180 per month.
- **Each additional connection:** AU$80 per month, up to six connections in total.

For more than six connections, contact us to discuss custom pricing.

What is included in a Landit subscription?

Every Landit subscription includes access to the complete feature set: Landit Excel, Landit Inbox and Landit Power BI.

There are no separate product tiers or feature add-ons.

Landit subscriptions are subject to an Acceptable Use Policy. Customers with requirements beyond standard usage limits can discuss custom pricing.

Microsoft Power BI licensing is separate and must be provided by the customer.

Can I pay annually instead of monthly?

Yes. You can pay monthly by credit card or choose an annual subscription.

Annual subscriptions can be paid by credit card or invoice and receive a **5% discount** compared with monthly billing.

Do I have to pay by credit card?

Not if you choose annual billing.

Monthly subscriptions are paid by credit card. Annual subscriptions can be paid by credit card or invoice, allowing businesses that prefer purchase-order or invoice-based payment processes to use Landit without monthly card payments.

Are there additional charges for using more data or reports?

Landit subscriptions include the full feature set and are subject to an Acceptable Use Policy designed to accommodate normal business use.

Most customers are not expected to exceed those limits. Customers with particularly large data volumes or usage requirements can contact Landit to discuss custom pricing.

## Free Trial

### Getting started

How long is the Landit free trial?

The Landit free trial lasts for 30 days, giving you time to explore the platform using your own business data or a supplied demonstration dataset.

During the trial, you have access to Landit's full feature set.

What features are included in the free trial?

The free trial includes access to all Landit features: Landit Excel, Landit Inbox and Landit Power BI.

You can explore ready-made reports, create and customise reporting using Query Builder and Assistant, schedule reports through Inbox, and use Landit's Power BI reporting capabilities.

Do I need to provide payment details to start a free trial?

The trial onboarding process is separate from the decision to subscribe.

SIP-assisted onboarding can defer payment details until the customer is ready to subscribe, but this must not be assumed to apply to every trial registration route.

### Working with your data

How much of my business data is included in the trial?

Landit initially imports the most recent 90 days of data from your connected business system.

This allows you to evaluate reporting, reconciliation and analysis using your own business information.

Can I trial Landit with more than 90 days of data?

Yes. If you need to evaluate reporting over a longer period, you can request an extension of the trial data allowance to include up to two years of historical data, at no additional charge.

This can be particularly useful when evaluating year-on-year reporting, seasonal trends or other reporting requirements involving longer periods.

Can I try Landit without connecting my own business data?

Yes. Landit offers demonstration data so you can explore the reporting features without first connecting your own business system.

Using your own data will generally provide a more meaningful evaluation, particularly when testing reporting against your specific business requirements.

### After the trial

What happens if I subscribe to Landit after the trial?

If you subscribe after your trial, your Landit service continues and the remaining available historical data from your connected business systems is imported.

You can continue using the reports and other features you've been evaluating.

What happens if I don't subscribe after the trial?

If you decide not to subscribe, your imported business data is permanently deleted from Landit when the trial ends.

You are not required to continue with a paid subscription simply because you've started a trial.

Will I lose the reports I've created during the trial?

If you subscribe, your Landit account continues, allowing you to keep working with the reports you've created during the trial.

If you don't subscribe, your imported business data is permanently deleted.

### Support and assistance

Can I get help during my free trial?

Yes. If you need assistance connecting your system, configuring reports or evaluating Landit against your requirements, you can request help.

If you're working with a Landit System Integration Partner, they can assist with onboarding, configuration and reporting requirements.

## System Integration Partners

What is a Landit System Integration Partner?

A Landit System Integration Partner (SIP) is a business that recommends, implements and supports Landit as part of the solutions it delivers to customers.

SIPs help customers address reporting, reconciliation and analysis requirements around their existing business systems, using Landit's data integration and reporting capabilities.

What does it cost to become a Landit SIP?

Becoming a Landit SIP involves entering into a partner agreement with Remind BI/Landit.

There is no automated partner registration process. Contact us to discuss the program and review the agreement.

How do I become a Landit SIP?

Contact us to discuss your business, the customers you support and how Landit might fit your existing solutions.

We'll explain the partner program, demonstrate the platform and provide the partner agreement for review. Once the agreement is executed, we'll help you get started with onboarding and Query Builder training.

Do I need to be a specialist in a particular business system to become a SIP?

Landit is designed to complement supported business systems, so familiarity with those systems and their customers' reporting requirements is valuable.

The partner program is particularly relevant to integrators and consultants who already implement, configure or support those systems and want to extend the reporting solutions they can provide.

This describes the intended partner profile rather than a formal eligibility requirement.

How do System Integration Partners earn revenue from Landit?

SIPs can earn recurring commission on subscriptions associated with their SIP account, alongside professional-services revenue from customer onboarding, configuration, report development and ongoing customisation.

The SIP is encouraged to deliver as much of the professional-services work as it can support, with Remind BI available to provide additional capability where required or agreed.

Who contracts with and bills the customer?

Customers contract directly with Landit and pay Landit for their subscriptions.

Landit pays the SIP its applicable recurring commission. The SIP manages its own professional-services arrangements with the customer, subject to the partner agreement.

How long do I receive commission on a customer subscription?

SIPs receive recurring commission while the customer's subscriptions remain active and associated with their SIP account, subject to the terms of the partner agreement.

The precise commission rate and other commercial conditions are defined in that agreement.

Can I charge customers for implementation and reporting services?

Yes. SIPs can provide professional services covering onboarding, configuration, report creation, customisation and more complex customer requirements.

Landit is intended to complement the SIP's existing services business rather than replace it.

Who owns the customer relationship?

The SIP remains the customer's primary relationship and first point of contact for Landit support.

Landit provides the application environment and subscription services, while Remind BI supports the SIP with training, Tier 2 support and additional professional-services capability when needed.

The customer contracts directly with Landit for the subscription, but the SIP continues to manage its service relationship with the customer.

How do I onboard a customer onto Landit?

Landit provides a dedicated SIP onboarding process that lets you create the customer's Landit account, configure connections and associate the customer with your SIP account automatically.

That association provides the basis for customer management, support access and recurring commission.

What happens if a customer signs up directly instead of through my SIP onboarding process?

Customers who onboard themselves can enter your SIP code to associate their Landit account with your SIP account.

If the code is missed during onboarding, Remind BI can help establish the association.

This allows customers to start independently while retaining their relationship with your business.

Can I manage my customers' Landit accounts?

Yes. Landit provides a dedicated SIP management interface giving you access to the customer accounts associated with your SIP account.

You can view account status, administer users and initiate connections for those customers.

What support am I expected to provide?

SIPs are the customer's first point of contact and provide Tier 1 Landit support, including helping with onboarding, configuration and everyday product questions.

Remind BI provides Tier 2 support through the SIP for issues requiring escalation, helping maintain the SIP's customer relationship.

What training and assistance will I receive?

Remind BI provides direct training in SIP onboarding and Query Builder, including creating and customising reports for customer requirements.

Additional technical assistance and professional-services capability are available where required or agreed.

Do I need to build reports for every customer?

No. Landit includes a growing library of ready-made reports that can be used as supplied or customised for individual customers.

Query Builder and Assistant provide tools for creating additional reporting when needed. For Power BI implementations, Landit also supplies a ready-made model and sample dashboards that can be adapted around customer requirements.

### Query Builder

What is Landit Query Builder?

Query Builder is Landit's visual tool for creating and customising reports using data from your connected business systems.

Select the datapoints you need, apply filters and shape the results around your reporting requirements. Once you've built your query, you can turn it into a report in Excel.

Do I need to know SQL or programming to use Query Builder?

No. Query Builder provides a visual interface for selecting data, configuring filters and building queries without writing SQL or code.

You can also use Landit's Assistant to describe what you want in everyday language and have it help build or change the query.

Where can I access Query Builder?

Query Builder is available in two forms: a compact version within the Landit Excel side panel and a full-screen web-based version.

Both work with the same underlying query definitions, so you can use whichever interface suits the task.

Can I create a completely new report using Query Builder?

Yes. You can create a query around a specific reporting requirement by selecting the relevant datapoints, applying filters and configuring the results.

When the query is ready, you can create the report directly in Excel.

Can I customise an existing Landit report?

Yes. Open an existing report in Query Builder and adapt its data selection, filters and presentation to suit your requirements.

This means you can start with one of Landit's ready-made reports rather than building everything from the beginning.

What's the difference between a query and a report?

A query defines which data you want and how it should be selected and organised.

A report is the resulting presentation of that data. In Landit, you can use Query Builder to define the query, then create an Excel worksheet containing the report.

Can I add charts to reports using Query Builder?

Yes. Query Builder supports adding charts to help present and communicate the results.

You can configure the query and its charts before creating the report in Excel, where you can continue working with Excel's own charting and formatting tools.

What can Landit's Assistant do in Query Builder?

Assistant helps with two main tasks:

- **Build or change queries:** Describe the report you need in everyday language and Assistant can help create or refine the query.
- **Find datapoints:** Ask Assistant to identify the data you need without manually searching through complex source-system data structures.

Assistant works directly within Query Builder.

Can Assistant help me find data when I don't know where it's stored?

Yes. Business systems can contain hundreds of datapoints, and finding the right one isn't always straightforward.

Describe the information you're looking for and Assistant can help identify the relevant datapoint within the available source-system data.

Can Query Builder work with data from multiple connections?

Query Builder gives you access to data available through the customer's Landit connections, including multiple instances of supported business systems.

You can select the relevant data for reporting requirements that involve those connections.

Can I filter and shape the data in my report?

Yes. Query Builder lets you choose the datapoints you need, apply filters and configure the query around your reporting requirements.

You can use these controls to focus the report on the information relevant to the business question you're trying to answer.

Can I make a Query Builder table available to Power BI or other applications?

Yes. Create a table using Landit Excel or the full-screen Query Builder, save it to **My Table List**, then submit it for publication as a custom OData endpoint.

This allows Power BI and other compatible data consumers to access the defined dataset rather than the broader underlying Landit data model.

Can customers use Query Builder themselves, or is it intended for System Integration Partners?

Both can use it. Query Builder is available to customers who want to create or customise their own reporting.

System Integration Partners can also use it to deliver more specialised reports around customer requirements, particularly where customers prefer expert assistance.

What training and support do System Integration Partners receive for Query Builder?

Landit System Integration Partners receive direct training from Remind BI in using Query Builder to create and customise customer reports.

Remind BI can also provide additional assistance with more complex reporting requirements when needed.

### Power BI for Partners

What does Landit provide for a Power BI implementation?

Landit provides a structured data layer, a ready-made Power BI model with established relationships, measures and calculations, and sample dashboards.

It also manages the source-system connections, data extraction and ongoing updates, reducing the amount of integration and modelling work required before you can focus on the customer's reporting requirements.

Can I customise the supplied Power BI model and dashboards?

Yes. The supplied model is not locked down. You can extend it with additional measures and calculations, add or modify pages and visualisations, and build customer-specific reporting using Power BI's capabilities.

The existing model provides a starting point rather than restricting what you can deliver.

Do I need to build or maintain the source-system integrations?

No. Landit manages the connection to supported business systems, including data extraction, preparation and ongoing updates.

This means you can build the Power BI solution against Landit's structured data layer rather than developing and maintaining the underlying source-system API integrations yourself.

Is the Landit data model consistent across customers?

Yes. Customers using the same supported source system are presented through substantially the same Landit data model.

For example, Cin7 Core customers use the same underlying dataset definitions, providing a consistent structure for Power BI implementations across different customer instances.

Can I reuse Power BI reporting across customers?

Yes. Power BI reports and model changes built against Landit's standardised data model can be applied to other compatible Landit customer instances.

This allows you to develop reusable reporting assets and implementation patterns rather than rebuilding the same solution for each customer.

Customer-specific configuration and reporting requirements may still need to be addressed.

How does Power BI access Landit data?

Power BI accesses Landit's structured data through OData.

The entities exposed through OData use the same dataset definitions available through Landit Excel and the web-based Query Builder, providing a consistent data structure across reporting environments.

Can I control which Landit data is exposed to Power BI?

Yes. You can create a table using Landit Excel or the full-screen Query Builder, save it to **My Table List**, and submit it for publication as a custom OData endpoint.

This allows you to define the specific subset of data made available to Power BI or other Landit data consumers, rather than exposing the broader dataset.

Can I use Query Builder to prepare data for Power BI?

Yes. Query Builder lets you select datapoints, apply filters and shape a table around the customer's reporting requirements.

Once saved to My Table List, the table can be submitted for publication as a custom OData endpoint, which Power BI can then consume.

Both the Excel-based and full-screen Query Builder interfaces support the same underlying table definitions.

What if the customer's reporting requirement isn't covered by the sample dashboards?

You can use Landit's supplied model and dashboards as a starting point, then extend them to meet the customer's requirements.

Add measures, modify visualisations, create new report pages or develop more specialised reporting while continuing to use Landit's underlying data connection and structured model.
